"I find joy in deep focus and in slow, mindful work. Working with clay brings a special sense of calm and a gentle connection between thought, body, and material. The softness and constant change of the clay create a sense of presence, where the act of creating is just as meaningful as the finished piece.
Nature plays a central role in my work, and I continually draw inspiration from the landscapes that surround me. The beach in particular - and the gentle rhythm of the sea - shapes the forms and surfaces. The movement of the water, the traces left in the sand, and nature’s quiet repetitions are translated into pieces that hold a sense of calm, tactility, and joy."
